2 amps i was looking at, for just a 1sub setup...

im not sure if im going to run 2 subs or just one for now... probably one to start with...

anybody know if those subs are really any good also??...

i was thinking 2x2-channel amps and 2 subs in a custom made enclosure...

or

1x2-channel amp w/ 1 sub in custom enclosure...

im not really into ground shaking sound, i just want some good loud speakers to rock with

also not real knowlageable in the sound systems deparptment...

Pioneer Subs are NOT that good at all. There head units are great though. Get an after market HU (Pioneer if you like) And a better sub. You'll be happier in the long run.
for some suggestions........

What kind of budget are you looking at? I could think of a few other amps that might give you more bang for the buck.

i was thinking about $400 maybe a little more if it is worth it in the long run...

and i will most likely be running with a sealed enclosure

i'll search for this but if anybody has an answer too that wouldn't hurt, what sub has the best bang for the buck? (ie: good sound quality, and has some power to it yet wont cost me $600 in equip )

If you are looking for a good sub, check out the JL w0 series, they are great entry level subs. As for amps, check out www.edesignaudio.com....they have great amps at great prices. they sell subs too, and they usually have deals on amps and subs together.
BTW...if you ar einterested in the elemental designs subs or amps, just drop me a line and I can answer any questions you have, as i use their top of the line sub, one of their amps and i am now running their mids in my stang.....
