4th Gen Steering Wheel

I'm about to buy a 4th gen steering wheel. I know it will fit onto my 92 TA, but will the radio controls work? I'm hoping that GM automatically put the all the wiring in place. And will all GM radios work with the remote controls? I have the cassette with equalizer.

Thanks,

JJ

the 92 stereo wont work with the steering wheelcontrols luckily the stock 4rth gen is a streight across swap no mounting or wiring changes pull on install the other personally i would go with a stereo from a 96 T/A b4 they went to the monsoon logo on the face sounded better... then you have the eq and the cd player i did this on my car looks sweet be sure the deck you get isnt from the bose system

i believe that they will work but to be sure look at a schematic of the wiring check voltage and impedance if all lines up then yes physically and athetically yes its a go as far as the wiring a small amount of research will tell you

I currently have a non airbag MOMO wheel. I have a feeling any wiring that was there, isn't anymore. So I'll probably stick with the MOMO. I also have a Grand Prix, and those controls are one of its best features.

Thanks everyone.

i wouldny worry about it. my airbag.... rather all teh wiring int mah steering column save the ign key wiring is cut. i can thank the cars previous owner. i feel safer working on the car w/o the airbag being armed.
