Power Antenna
Can anyone help me find a replacement power antenna for my Camaro? I need one with a black mast. Crutchfield can't help me out and all I could find on E-Bay are chrome mast ones. Thanks in advance.

you dont need one out of a camaro necessarily, i got mine out of a delta 88! works fine! i would suggest going to a junkyard and asking at the counter if they have any from an early model GM. Just take your PA motor and compare them. if it looks the same and has the same wires, it will more then likely work.

i want to switch to a power antenna because it looks better parked. not quite as nice as a shaved antenna, but still allows you to get radio reception.

its pretty easy, there is a relay that you will need, its on the passenger side under the dash. it has a green white and grey wire going into it, and a pink and orange wire going out (into where you would put a cd player or whatever) take this relay with all the wiring, get the power antenna, usually early model GMs have pretty much the same antenna. You would need to make some type of mounting system (unless where the regular antenna is, you can mount it where that one is mounted) also, when you get the relay, look in the fender where the antenna would be and try to find a bracket that looks like a "Z" i guess. once you have these its pretty easy.
Green wire - hooks to green on antenna

grey - grey
i belive the pink one is power and the orange is ground.. one of the two.
