everybody has that "edelbrock" junk on their car, and the name is no longer origional and most hot-rodders with half a brain wont look at that crap. now a TPIS intake on the other hand. thats a small company, turning out good quality TPI parts with good quality assurance and customer service. and because the name is small, its still pretty origional, making it popular for those ppl who dont wanna be trendy d-bags.

buying anything that doesnt say edelbrock on it is a good move in my books, even if its a copy.

perhaps youd also like to slag saturn because they use toyota engines.

Its really made by Edelbrock..lol..TPIS spent a couple of hours on it and sells it for almost twice as much as an Edelbrock..

thats the best way to make money dont ya know?...and if i (TPIS) sell a little propaganda in the process...so be it.

becides...i wouldnt have any of that edelbrock **** on my car...unless it was vic's daughters...from 20 years ago.

EDIT: ill sell you my partially ported TPIS big mouth base for 400 buks (not including shipping). i even went ahead and removed the raised TPIS emblim and blended it to look like it was never there. i bought it for a 383 but then found out about this aluminum 427 sbc and the TPI would no longer be enough.

Gramps.........I'm with you on the Edelbrock (except maybe their water pump). There is better quality for less $$.

whats everyones hate on for edelbrock parts?I have always had excellant luck with there stuff.
