WTB: Parts in Maritime Region

I am looking for Camaro parts in the Maritime region.

Mainly looking for "Grid" taillights, 3rd or 4th gen seats in grey or black, ground effects (all of them including bumpers), windshield.

I am interested in lots of other things as well so just post if you know of some good spots to contact or check out.

I have a 1981 Trans Am T-Tops complete rolling chassis in restorable condition but will trade parts for third gen parts if anyone is interested in that.

Have you checked out David T's? They are in Alberta and seem to have a wicked selection of parts. I haven't ordered anything from them but at one point I thought that I needed some internal door parts and they had used ones available at a good price. Here is the link the their site http://www.davidt.com

Any places around here couldn't get me the parts.

Good luck.

Thanks. I know of them but they wanted an arm, leg, and first born child for a driver side door to fit a 1981 Trans AM. I sent them a request to see what they can do though for me.

I just wanna find a rusted Z28 parts car, you would think here in saltville (winter salt) we would have junkers everywhere

Isn't that always the way though...when you really want something you pretty much have to sell your soul for it. They were pretty good on pricing for what I needed I think it was around 25 or 30 bucks.

You would think that there'd be a ton of cars around these parts. I know mine is starting to show some signs of having been exposed to the salt (hasn't been driven in the winter now for the last six years). I thought it would be a joke to get a door latch assembly. Guess I was wrong, at least I got the problem fixed without having to replace anything.

The first place that I usually try is Wrecks Unlimited in Saint John and then Reynolds in Hampton. If you want the numbers for them, I can look them up. Let me know.

http://www.camaro.ca Take a look at parts under the Classifieds section. Looks like there might be some things there that would be worthwhile for you.

Thanks man, if you have those numbers handy, or directions, post them when you get a chance. Thanks, my car is currently sitting too, bought it for $900 but it is worth much more than that (no rust on exterior, floor is all new metal and welded properly). It needs very little to put on the road but I only picked it up in the fall and haven't run it yet (stored) except for some runs around the neighborhood back when I first got it. Can't wait to get some work done to it. I had a 1981 Trans Am when I was 18 and I miss the V8. I did have a custom 2000 Z24 with a body kit and all that ****, but I got tired of the 4 cyl.

Anyway, this car is a berlinetta (not my first choice, but the price was right) with the rare digital stuff in it, but I want to convert the exterior to a Z28 look.

Wrecks Unlimited - 1-800-565-0099 (local # 633-684) they are at 669 Old Black River Road in Saint John.

Reynolds Auto Salvage - 1-888-984-3300 (local # 832-4865) they are on the O'Dell Loop Road in Hampton.

Sounds like its going to be a sweet looking car when you get done. I've had my Firebird for ten years now and it is holding up pretty good. A couple of holes are starting in the floor and I'd like to throw a fresh coat of paint on it sometime soon. The only thing that I have changed from original on the car are the tires. I put a set of BFG Radial T/A's on it last summer (they're wider and lower profile from the originals). The car has over 200,000km's on it - I was surprised that the 3.1 has held up so well.
