Looking for the right IROCZ
Hey everyone! Just putting my feelers out. I am looking for a clean IROC near California (if possible) that is unmolested. I am not a tire kicker. I have the cash and I will pay a fair price for the right car. I am looking for an 87-90 IROCZ with TPI, 5-speed manual transmission, and T-tops. I will consider any color but red (maroon is ok) or black and I would like a black or gray interior. I would prefer a car with under 100K miles but it doesn't have to be a museum piece. So many of these cars were molested and hacked up by rickey racers over the years that they are getting hard to find. I know that I am looking for a needle in a haystack but I am a patient man and I can wait years if I have to. I am a child of the 80's and I am looking for that car that I was in love with but couldn't afford back when I was in high school. I remember well the white 1990 IROCZ with a manual transmission sitting on the lot at my local chevy dealer back in the day that was on sale for 15 grand. My insurance company wanted 4 grand a year to insure my 19 year old self so all I could do was drool over that car. Now that I am a big boy, I want that car! Send me a PM if you have what I am looking for. Thanks!

Re: Looking for the right IROCZ
Never mind! I found the car I have been looking for! Closed the deal today on a beautiful blue 87 5 Speed G92 car with a little under 30,000 miles on the clock. I can't wait until it gets here in a couple weeks.

Re: Looking for the right IROCZ
I will. I have a screen shot of the eBay ad photo but the quality isn't great. I need to figure out how to post pictures on here. It's a beautiful car! I feel very fortunate that I found it. The guy selling it is a really nice guy. He did make me promise to give him the opportunity to buy it back if I ever decide to sell it.

Welcome, I wanna see it too. My dream car is still in progress, but as a first car that got hack up wires I took it all apart and build back up and none the less I learn so much and I'm real close as in days to get it running again.

I guess I will post them here since there really is no "general discussion" area on this site. Thank You for the welcome. This will be the 5th 3rd generation camaro I have owned. But I haven't owned one in almost 20 years. Congratulations on getting your car running again. It always makes a car more special when you built it yourself.
