Car: 1985 Camaro Z28, VIN F
Engine: 427 sbc, HSR
Transmission: T-56, self rebuilt 700+ hp
Axle/Gears: Moser 12bolt, 3.42 trutrac
1985 Z28 modified
original, one owner from 1985, taken off the road in 2014 due to health and garage kept covered since
summary mods
427 SBC (dart block) with AFR210 and HSR
700hp built T56 with mcl street twin
Moser 12bolt
6pt roll bar in factory interior
Most every suspension part replaced with Spohn
‘92 hood and front end
ROH rims
$10k obo
This car was the testbed for many ECM and PROM projects back in the heyday of thirdgen programming. It still has my original '730 ECM harness adapter to the factory 1985 TPI harness. WB-O2 sensor projects, LT1 T56 thirdgen conversion parts, T56 long-tube header cross-member test mule, Corvette and LS1 brake adapters, 4th gen wheel spacers, it's been through a lot but always kept to it's original plan to remain as stock appearing as possible. It needs someone with youth and motivation to continue to enjoy it as much as I have since purchasing it in 1985. It is currently setup for Road Course/AutoX but could easily used for drag racing. It was always street legal and the engine built to run on 87 octane.
thanks
mike

Very interested. I'm not local, would you mind sending me some interior and under hood pics?

Re: 1985 Z28 modified
Is the car still available? If so where exactly are you located? Is it possible to schedule a showing?

Re: 1985 Z28 modified
I messaged you with my email and phone number if you'd like to contact me text/ email phone call it doesn't matter. I'm from Minnesota. So arrangements would need to be made to come check it out. But we can discuss all of that if you wanna get in touch.

He’s not serious. He refused to talk other than through messages on here which he barely checks. Anyone serious about selling a car would talk on the phone. This car could have been sold 20 times if he took it seriously at all. I’m sure he’ll come back and tell me how I’m wrong but the fact that it’s still available speaks volumes.

Re: 1985 Z28 modified
Yeah idk what's going on. I've tried and waited weeks for a reply. No contact via phone email or messages on here. Idk what else to do. If you wanna sell it man. Just let me know I've got the cash for now until i find something else. Looking at 3rd gen camaros and c5 corvettes if anyone know of anything. Prefer 6 speed cars tasteful mods are ok. Cash in hand. Willing to spend 20k for the right ride.
