1987 Camaro LT
Selling my 87 Camaro LT with 121k miles on the gauge cluster (which is from a Z28 for the higher speedo...car has closer to 80-85k miles) that's been sitting in a garage for about the past 9 years now. Originally began as a project car, but sadly we had a couple deaths in the family as I was getting started and that derailed everything at the time. When it was stored it was running...305 ran good and the transmission was solid. Electronics worked as well including the automatic hatch (that's why it's not fully closed in the pictures...I manually opened it to take pictures and it wouldn't close fully because the battery is dead). Interior was done maybe a couple thousand miles before it was stored. The blue inserts are suede and the Camaro badges in the door panels were taken off a 1st gen. There's a lot of the original manuals along with the original dealer sticker on the bottom of the rear bumper as well...even have the original dealer keychain. In addition to the interior it has IROC wheels, 3.73 Richmond gears, custom floormats, and Infinity 6x9s. There's surface rust along the wheel wells, some bubbling around the antenna and a small dent in the front passenger side fender. There's also a small tear in the driver's seat but not in the suede...it's the part of the seat tucked under the back rest. Car has a clean title and another exhaust system (Y pipe back) is included with the sale...believe it's a 3" exhaust but I can double check. Some pictures are included, but can send pictures of everything good and bad upon request. Clean title. Asking $4,000

Re: 1987 Camaro LT
I originally took pictures and just posted it, but after looking around at some of the other ads this past week I'm reducing the price. A little more backstory on the car...I purchased it from a tech at a Chevy dealership that my buddy is also a tech at. He was restoring the car for his kid who just got his license and doing things like replacing lines, hoses, did the brakes, etc.. so it would be reliable and drive good. I think his kid didn't meet his end of the bargain or something because I know he got upset at him and wound up selling it to me. I daily drove it and got to park it in a garage 98% of the time for about 3 years without too many issues...had to replace the water pump early on and fix an exhaust leak, but that was it. I drove it out to Sioux Falls and back to meet up with a friend of mine and do the interior, so it was driving good at the time it was stored. Can take pictures of anything upon request as well.

Thanks...my friend was very early in his interior career and was able to use this Camaro as a canvas at the time. I like the shade of blue we picked out for the suede inserts...really looks good in person.

It's been sitting for years, so it'll need some work to start her up. When it went into storage, she was running good...had just done a small cross country trip not long beforehand and she held up fine. The person I bought it from is (was) a tech at a Chevy dealership and was putting it together for his son's birthday, and he basically did everything to make it run good and dependable...wiring, brakes, suspension, ignition, fuel system, etc. I replaced the water pump and a fan relay (believe it was for the fan), but that's all I really did when I was daily driving her for a couple years. I'm currently trying to dig more into the car's history and it's been a while since this was all told to me, but I believe the entire dash was replaced along with the gauge cluster which were taken from an IROC. This would make sense because the car is an LT, but it does have an IROC dash with the nicer gauge cluster. The cluster reads 121k on the clock and that's what I listed the car as, but I'm almost positive it's closer to 80k which is why I'm trying to dig for service history records or anything to back this up. But I also don't want to come across as I'm misrepresenting the car which is why I'm listing it as it reads on the cluster. But other than the surface rust around the wheel wells and the bubbling around the base of the radio antenna, the body is pretty solid and doesn't look like a car with over 100k on it. And no rodents went into her while she was stored...no chewed up wires, nests or turds under the hood. I can take in depth pictures or videos of anything if needed as well.

TTT, as long as this car is solid underneath, it should be a no-brainer for someone at $1,500. GLWS.

Appreciate it. Car has spent most of its life in a garage and is pretty solid underneath. Would be willing to take pictures of the undercarriage for any potential serious buyers as well.
