1991 RS CAMARO BEAUTIFUL 500HP 383

I have finally decided it might be time to part ways with the love of my life. I have owned this car since 2003 and all of the work on this car other than the motor and paint has been done by myself. The car since the motor and trans have been in the car has probably around 2,500 miles on it. Last summer I didn't have my gauge cluster made and the stock speedo didn't work and it now reads 804 miles. The car was originally a 91 RS 305 TBI....it now has....
Drivetrain:
383 full roller 11:1 compression bored .40 over so its actually a 385 (built may of 2010)
custom ground cam, AFR 195 heads, edelbrock torker intake, quick fuel 750 carb, summit ignition, hooker long tube headers to mufflex Y Pipe to hooker muffler, centerforce billet steel flywheel, zoom clutch, LT1 T-56, pro 5 shifter, aluminum driveshaft, ford 9" rear with 3.73 gears.
Suspension/chasis:
Dropzone shocks and kyb gr2 shocks(lowered 2"), Poly bushings everywhere, custom torque arm (came with the 9" rear), jegster sub frame connectors, Lakewood lower control arms, hotchkins adjustable panhard bar.
Fuel:
I drilled a hold in the bottom of my stock tank and put a -8 bulkhead, ran -8 to a jegs inline filter then to an Aeromotive SS pump, -8 supply to a Mallory fpr with -8 return to the tank, from the fpr I ran -6 to a jegs dual feed line.
Body:
The car was repainted at the end of last summer, It is the original paint code with black accents in the side louvers and in the ss hood. The hood is an american sports car design hood (fits really nicely), billet aluminum front grille, clear headlight and side marker lights, high rise spoiler. I also had the antenna removed, door ding strips removed along the side of the car and the ground affects filled in where the rs went on the side. windows are 15% side and 5% rear with the defrost grids scraped down so the rear tint looks real clean. Chrome C6 corvette rims with 2" spacers.
Interior:
I made a custom gauge panel with autometer cobalt gauges. steering wheel I got off ebay, stock seats that I purchased off this site that someone had recovered with black and blue vinyl (real nice seats). Fairly new classic industries headliner without sun visors. Original door panels in great shape.

This car is my baby and its very had for me to put it up for sale (even though it will make the wife really happy) but even though I don't think its time to move on, I really want to finnish my basement and build a garage. I have a lot of time and money tied up in this car. I think everything the car came with I have upgraded (more than once) and I was finally happy with where The car is. I have not had a chance to get it to the track because I didn't want to put drag radials on the car since I got it repainted....the first time i got it repainted i had drag radials on it and it flung rocks all over my paint.

I am Asking $17,500 for the car and I am in no rush to sell it so please no bogus offers.

can someone explain to me how to put my pictures in the article without having to make them attachments. For some reason The pictures I have from a camera say they wont upload so these are only motor shots.

Don't sell it, I sold my first Z28, which was a built 1980, about seven years ago and it still haunts me. Now currently building 84 Z28 for mainly strip duties. Your car looks amazing.

I had the guy who painted the car smoke them out....he just reduced the black down and got it to his desired tint. do not use the nite shaded stuff....I had spare tail lights that I tried it on and it comes out either really dull if you try to mist it on, but if you put it on nice and wet it like seperated the plastic and made like cracks in the paint.

Re: 1991 RS CAMARO BEAUTIFUL 500HP 383

Thankyou much for the info on the night shades. I was going to use it and something in my gut just said NO! So I went with the blackouts, the car is going to see 90% strip duties and when I can afford to drive it to the local car shows.

Once you get the bassment done and build your garage, you will miss your Camaro man keep it. Tell the wife how much it really means to you, and if she don't understand by all means smoke the tires out of there . In all seriousness i don't see you getting 17,000 for it. maybee in a couple years. IMO

Gorgeous car. Dude, fill up the tank, take it for a couple hour cruise. If you still wanna sell after that then by all means sell it. But don't sell it and regret it in 2 years.

No. He'll regret it in 2 minutes. When he sees his car drive away into the sunset, never to be driven by him again, He'll wish he never had it in the first place. If he needs to sell it than he gotsta sells it. But he will still regret it. No doubt about it. It's like loosing a relative. You don't think your gonna cry when it happens, until it does.
