1984 Camaro Berlinetta Ford 9" Tremec Trans 461 BBC
I am thinking on selling my 84 Camaro Berlinetta. Wanted to see the interest as I am planning on selling it complete minus the engine & fuel system. It does have Antnque PA plates.
The car is extremely fast, handles nicely, and will stop on a dime. See below for specifications: I will also include all of the original and spare parts that I have for the car as well. I also have a GM shop manual for the car which will be included. I will not take trades, and will not take payments. Cash in hand, please.
Car title is clean, is not an “R” or salvage title
Berlinetta Package, digital instruments, T-Tops(I have a pair of the shades), Car has the overhead console with the flashlight
Specs:
MSD 6AL ignition
Griffin Aluminum Radiator with electric Taurus fan
Custom 2” Long tube headers, 3.5” collectors, into a 4” Mufflex exhaust system with Magnaflow Muffler and single 5” hideaway tailpipe
Suspension, Chassis and Braking
Front
Stock design, boxed A-Arms
Global West Del-A-Lum bushings
IROC 36mm front sway bar
Global West "wonderbar"
Wilwood 6 piston GN III Calipers with 13x1.38 composite rotors
Eibach 900lb/in springs with jackscrews
Custom Strut Tower Brace, integrated into strut mounts
Hydroboost power brake system (operates on power steering system and doesn’t need vacuum)
Rear
Spohn LCA and track bar(heim joints used)
BMR Torque arm
WS6 Rear Springs
PBR rear calipers
12x0.810 rotors
Stewart LBS anti-lock brake valve
IROC 24mm rear sway bar
Drivetrain
Tremec TKO II 5 speed manual
.82 Overdrive
Hays Racing Clutch
Hays Safety bellhousing
Ford 9" rear axle
3.89 final drive,
Detroit Trutrac locking differential
Moser 31 Spline axles
Strange Aluminum center section
Aluminum driveshaft from Dennys Driveshaft
Wheels and Tires
front
ROH ZS
275/40 ZR17
rear
ROH ZS
285/40 ZR17
Other Stuff:
Autopower 4-point roll bar (SCCA Legal)
Autometer Tach, oil pressure, and oil temp gauges
All brake lines are Stainless braided –AN (Aeroquip or equivalent)
Seats are graphite leather from a 1995 Pontiac Trans Am
Harwood fiberglass cowl hood (4”)
Rear mounted Battery, shut off switch for safety(Behind license plate)
There are two (2) Pairs of subframe connectors installed- one pair runs inside the rockers, the other attaches to the frame rails.
Grid style taillights from an IROC-Z
Grant GT Steering Wheel
All of the spare parts and accessories that I have will come with the car(these are the big ones that come to mind):
New set of Performance Friction brake pads
Holley carburetor jet assortment Several gaskets, seals, power valves
One pair of M/T 28x10.5x15 ET Drag slicks, on 15" Camaro RS wheels
Chevrolet Shop Manual for 1984 Camaro, with wiring diagram
One case of WIX racing oil filters
Spintech crossflow muffler with dual tailpipes
Would like $9000/BO for everything and the buyer would need to pick it up in PA. Stick in a motor and go. Setup for a BBC. A lot of hi-po parts on this car and always stored and only driven on weekends. Feel free to e-mail me at js66chev@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Re: 1984 Camaro Berlinetta Ford 9" Tremec Trans 461 BBC
Thanks for the response. No, I will not part out this car...its immaculate and has Antique plates on it. The only thing I would do is sell it as a roller (without the engine only).....thanks

Re: 1984 Camaro Berlinetta Ford 9" Tremec Trans 461 BBC
Question about the 9 inch rear end. Is it the same dimensions as a third gen rear end, or was it built wider to fourth gen dimensions?
