Re: 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible 25th Anniv Ed.

Being an actual 25th with the stripes and spoiler plaque, shouldn't the car have black headlight buckets and a white grille?

and the badge is in the wrong place on the spoiler

Not on a RS. I have seen the car many times. If in doubt go look at the car. You won't be disappointed.

Please don't put negative comments on here unless you KNOW what your talking about! It doesn't help and it drives potential buyers away!

The owner is open to reasonable offers!!!!

Re: 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible 25th Anniv Ed.

It should look like this if it is a real 25th with the heratage package. I should have a white grille and the stripes continue around to the rear of the spoiler, along with the badge being on the left hand side of the spoiler. Not tring to be negative, but putting stripes horse doesnt make it a zebra, same applies to cars. If you can proove it with an RPO code list then i'll be quiet. I've seen people try to pass Z28 off as real SS's just because of the ram air hood. It's a good looking car, and if it hasnt been repainted, then im sorry but it's not a real 25th besides being a 1992.

the car below is a coupe, but the same goes for both the coupe and the convertible.

It doesn't say that it is a heritage edition! It says it HAS heritage STRIPES.

Re: 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible 25th Anniv Ed.

Who cares if it's an anniv. edition ? Seriously, EVERY DAMN 1992 camaro is a anniv. edition. Now if it had the Z03 options, it would be worth $20,000. That thing is just a plane jane 1992 in great shape, nothing rare about it.

Re: 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible 25th Anniv Ed.

I got an PM from the owner saying he had papers to proove it is real, and that it came from the factory just as it looks in the pics with the stripes and badge. Somebody was tryin to pass off a really bad clone.

If you knew the owner you would understand that he is not trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes. The car looks just as it did when he bought it right or wrong.

Re: 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS Convertible 25th Anniv Ed.

Ok .. Now that I can defend myself(shouldn't have to)
Heres where it all started !!...............................
Number one >>> Read the AD carefully & slow,so your mind doesn't play tricks on you.....
It clearly states :
92 Camaro RS 25TH. Anniversary Edition " WITH HERITAGE STRIPES ",
plain and simple ,no other insinuations made !!!
The Stripes were obviously put on after it left the factory by ASC(decal on door in picture ).
To the BEST of MY knowledge the factory did not put stripes on because of the third brake light on the vert, and stripes were different from the coupe to
the verts.
I know no more about it ,accept it is one nice car !!! ADULT owned & babied ............
Any more senseable questions ,I'd be glad to answer by P.M ing me ,not on here ..

It is a real car,not a die-cast model .DUHHHHHH !!!
The factory must of sent it to ASC for the stripes,
as pictured in the door pictures !!!
this thread is for people buying & selling ..not to make stupid conversation ..

Man, that’s a nice car. Sorry your thread is getting crapped on, but this site is not the place to sell a car like that. And, while you stated that it was never implied that it is a rare car, it actually is in Michigan. That thing would probably be a trophy winner in some of the local car shows (not like St. Ignace or nothing, but some smaller local ones) know what I mean? Hell, that would be a sweet parade car.
