hey guys most of you know me but some of you dont. im big into these thirdgens and have done alot to this car but its time to move on to an old car that i have always wanted and to get my dream car i have to sell my first car . so here it is for sale. it is a 1988 iroc camaro. 305 TPI automatic. it has t-tops. it is maroon if you couldnt tell from the screen name. it is a beautifull color but needs to be freshend b/c of the clear coat. it has 17" iroc replica wheels on it. the suspension is all brand new. heres a list of the upgrades.

less than 1000 miles on 17" chrome iroc wheels and 245/45/17 tires.

intrax 2" lowering springs

new shocks and struts. new bushings and endlinks for the swaybars.

brand new radiator i havent even put it in yet...

new hood and hatch struts.

B&M megashifter not installed yet either.

15% tint all the way around.

hypertech thermomaster chip and 160 degree thermostat.

flowmaster catback.

edlebrock shorty headers and y-pipe brand new gaskets with high heat silicone to stop leaks installed with alen head bolts and locktight.

summit 3" cutout. bolts welded to the back so the wingnuts are easily removed for the track. the exhaust is 3" from the header primarys all the way back to the muffler and then it has 2 and 1/2 inch dynomax turndowns. i have alot of money in the exhaust.

new chrome centerbolt valve covers.

nice centerbolt wire looms

just did a tuneup. taylor 8mm cut to fit wires, new cap, rotor, and plugs

new distributor.

all the lights on the car are brand new. new high beams, low beams, fogs, and parking lights.

changed all the interior dash lights over to red.

sony cdx-m800 cd player very nice unit.

pioneer 4x6's and 6x9's

pioneer 2000 watt amp and 2 10" kicker cvr subs. and costom fit box. the system will be extra if you want it. b/c i have alot of money in it.

added a rare overhead console.

new hood insulation.

the tranny was replaced about 40,000 miles ago and i had to put new speedo gears in it.

that is about all i can think of right now if i can think of more i will add it. but here are the pictures.

just letting everyone know this is just a feeler. the car is torn apart right now. but will be put back together like new. the motor is broke i think i bent a connecting rod. but i am in the process of pulling the motor. so i wont know what is wrong with the car untill i get it out. but whatever is wrong with it will be fixed no doubt. im sorry i failed to mention that but i just put this ad up as a feeler to see if i could generate any interest in the car. so if anyone is interested in the car lmk and i will keep you updated on the progress. i am hoping this will only take about a month max to pull the motor fix it and get it back in. the price is 5300 with the motor fixed and running. sorry for the confusion but matt asked me about it and i figured i would clarify.

well it is this or a 67 rs camro which would you choose. i love this car to death i mean just visit my cardomain and you will see all the work put into it. i love this car it is my first car but my dream car is a 69 camaro a 67 is practically the same for me.

and to everyone interested in buying the car. i dont want to come off with the wrong impression like i have for some people already... the car is for sale for 5300 like you see it in the pictures. with a great running 305. the motor is blown and is getting pulled and i am going to replace everything that needs to be replaced. i might even take it all apart and rehone it and reassemble. but for right now it looks like it is just a bent rod so i will replace the rod and pull the crank and get it turned. then i will put the motor back in the car and it will be for sale for 5300 this ad is just a feeler. to let everyone know that this car is for sale. as you can see it has many upgrades. and the car was done right if you ask anyone that knows the car. it is a show car with a coat of paint. if you are interested in the car pm me and i can give you more information. if it is something that you might be really interested in buying i will keep you updated on the progress of the car.

Goodluck with the sale. I am sad to see it go, but I understand your situation. Too bad I can't afford it now, or I would fly down to GA, and drive it back. Just make sure you stay on these boards when you get rid of it.

thanks for the kind words guys. i know i hate to see it go to but a 67 camaro rs will be replacing it. i will definitely stay on the boards though. i am not parting anything on the car out. not the rims or anything. b/c i have too much money in the wheels to sell them for like half the price and then get another set of iroc wheels to replace them. + the wheels will help the sale alot.

i have a complete 305 with blown head gasket for $100 and a complete but disassembled 350 for $150. has all the internals if that helps.

In my opinion you made a good decision, now just keep a sharp eye and a few bucks handy as you never know when a 69 will pop up at a good price. My son-in-law mentioned once that he thought there was one sitting because the family member was uh.....incarcarated.....had him call and find out what it was immediately....drat, it was a mustang of some vintage, but one just never knows where the treasure may be.

the 69 camaro is definitely my dream car.. and hopefully i will have one one day but to be honest with you the reason im keeping my car is b/c my car is already pretty nice i mean it has all the luxuries like air and power windows and locks and all that. i could have sold this car for about 5k but what would that buy me in the collector world... it would have bought me a piece of junk that i would have had to put so much more money into to make it as nice as my car is right now. that is why i decided to keep it. we went on vacation last weekend and me and my mom had a long talk about it while hiking up through the mountains in tennessee. and she kinda talked me into keeping it... so for now im going to finish it up get it back running and then get it painted and then buy me a piece of **** s10 to drive to school...
