C4 front 12" brakes need to be rebuilt. What part #s?
Hey everyone, I have an EBMiller C4 kit from 15 years ago and the car has sat a LOT. I want to rebuild the calipers, new pads, and new rotors.
Does anyone know the Part #s or make/model they are off of to help me find the right parts?
i have tried searching and reaching out to ebMiller, to no avail yet.
Thank you

You mentioned HD so I assume you have the 13 inch rotors. I would messure to make sure. standard brakes were 12.1 inches Hd was 12.99 inches . They were used on 1995 - 96 corvettes with the HD opption .

IIRC the calipers are the front calipers from the same car and the rotors from the rear(something like that). The calipers look like this...

Good luck, I had a time finding mine when I swapped out my C4s for C4HDs. Found them locally but had to order them in.

15 years old is nothing to worry about. There are probably a lot of 3rdgens still on the road with their 30-40 year old calipers, rotors and hoses. I'd imagine all of the upgrade parts from Ed were either new or remanufactured "new" at the time, right? So if you're not changing brake systems/upgrading to larger, then your C4 12" brakes should be fine. Just clean 'em up.
Rock Auto lists a lot of rebuild kits for C4 calipers, but if yours aren't leaking, then there's probably no need to rebuild them. Clean them with Aluminum Brightener from NAPA, and they'll look brand new. Paint the abutment brackets to make them look new. Clean and grease the guide pins. Flush the system until fresh fluid is coming out of each caliper. Maybe some new rotors and pads, which won't be expensive.
