88 GTA Rear Disc Brakes
So I have a 1988 GTA with 9 bolt rear end with the rear disc brakes. I recently replaced the rotors, calipers and pads. For some reason, they make some horrendous noises. Not squeeking more like groaning. I have tried bending the pad ears on the outlet pad as suggested. I am at a loss what to do next but it sounds awful.
I can engage the emergency brake and it may stop the groaning for a bit but it comes back. I tried some ceramic pads after trying some standard pads.
Any ideas of fixes?

Probably not what you'll want to hear but
Best fix Is to update to 89-92 style.
89 only year the aluminum pbr calipers were used on the 9bolt so you'll need the 1 yr only bolt mounting bracket

Well at the end of day if that stops the dinosaur sounds then ok. Lol
@Tuned Performance suggested checking out the centering of the caliper to the rotor by adjusting the caliper mounting bracket so may try that first.
