Wheel stud length

I have 17” wheels and Planning on doing bigbrakeupgrade ls1 hubs and brackets with powerstop calipers, pads, and rotors. I don’t like the look of open ended lug nuts and was unsure if I should get the 2 or 2.5 studs. Let me know please

thanks!

Re: Wheel stud length

If 91Camaro is not interested I might be! I am looking to update mine brakes all around. Looking for 12" LS1 up front so I can use my new 18" rims and go back to my stock 16" Formula ones if I desire.

This is question I have as well. I am planning on getting all the parts over the winter to update my brakes all around, budget is tight. So I can install by spring next year.

I'm searching for the same answer. Did you ever find out which length is best with stock or closed end lug nuts? Thanks

Re: Wheel stud length

I used the Dorman on the C4 standard brake swap with the stock lug nuts and covers:

Studs:

10 pcs, napa 6411581 cross reference to dorman 610-323
Motormite 98501
Dorman 610-323

They are 54mm long (about 2-1/8"), .509 knurl with an 8mm shoulder.

RBob.

2” for stock size wheels even with the added space for the conversion. 2.5” is if you’re running over sized wheels with spacers
