I want to do the LS1 front brake conversion, but the local salvage yard only has 3 v6 Camaros and an unknown engine firebird in the proper year range, are they the same or do I have to wait for a Z-28 or TA to show up?

You can usually find 6 bangers in junk yard, bring your tools and lots of time and score front spindles cheap.

awesome, I saw the drums in the back and assumed they were smaller up front too, the junkyard website says they just got a 92 in, so I'm going to get the spindles and disks off that, and the disks, calipers and caliper brackets off one of the v6 cars and bring the whole deal to metals tech on base where they said they would modify the spindles, cut the disks to hubs and make the brackets for a couple bottles of jack....got to love having a air force machine shop available lol
