Disc rearend parking brake removal. Hurt anything?
Before I go and screw something up, on the older disc rearends, does it hurt anything to remove the bulky parking brake arm and bracket from the caliper? Don't look like it would. But I don't have time to test and really don't want to hit the track and a caliper do something fishy.
thanks
thanks

If you still have the 88 brakes, probably not... those things don't really ever do anything anyway. Might as well get rid of the calipers too. (talk about "bulk")

Ha! Not my 88. It has 94 rearend.
This is on my dirt car. Rear came from a 91 but has 26 spline axles so who knows what it really came from.
Thanks though
I pulled them off earlier but wanted to make sure.
