looking to do a break upgrade
So i am doing a motor swap/rebuild and into a better body and whule doing it i plan on putting in a few motor upgrades ie cam/intake/exhaust i know i dont need to upgrade the breaks as i wont be adding much hp but i would like to.
I looked at the first post in the break fourm and didnt see what i was looking for. I am wondering if i could pull the spindles and hub assembly and calipers off a 4th gen and bolt on to my 3rd gen struts and a arm/balljoint and would the cailper work with the stock 3rd gen break line.
I have 16" iroc rims so i think they will clear still

no, you can't just unbolt anything from the front of a 4th gen and bolt it into a 3rd gen... well, i guess the lugnuts will swap over... but that's about it for major front suspension pieces..
also, it's spelled "b-r-a-k-e-s"..

Re: looking to do a break upgrade
You can use caliper and pads etc and rotors
You need to modify stock spindle quick search can find what's needed to do
You need to buy a machines hub with longer wheel stud and or do it yourself if you have the ability
Bracket for the brakes you want to run
You can buy hubs and bracket from bigbrakeupgrade you can then modify spindle your self and or buy them pre modified
But modified spindle and machined hub , bracket and your 4th gen calipers hardware and rotors
You love the upgrade and confident when stopping
