Camaro SS/CTSV Brakes.
To the people that are running these brakes, this is a 2 part question.
What are you all running for rear brake?
How do you like them?

Rear brakes dont make much difference. If working properly they will only be used in mild braking aka driving like a sensible person. If you romp on the brakes, the fronts will do all the work and 4 pot brembos do a bang up job of putting your nose in the dash
I used stock 3rd gen drums, LS1 disk rear, and eventually ford non-vented disk rears. All drove the same. Fronts are CTS-V 4 pots with a 13.5" rotor

I'm guessing that that's with an oem prop valve, what master cylinder did you use... ? I'm doing an ls1 rear brake setup on a 4th gen axle with the brembo 4pots up front on either a 13 to 14in rotor. No prop valve, but I will be doing a brake bias valve in the rear brakes with a remote cable mounted in the dash... What are your thoughts on this setup?

Yes, OEM 3rd gen disk prop valve, 3rd gen master
You might want to look into a prop valve instead of an adj restrictor. A prop valve varies pressure from minimal to max f/r bias depending on the situation. A restrictor is a set it and forget it piece, great for a racecar, but not so good for day to day driving. Some people like them, I dont

Hello, I have the CTS-V fronts with 14" Z06 rotors.. Let me tell you they will stop like you've never stopped before. I went with the 4 piston wilwoods and 12.2 rotors in the rear.
IMO you need an adj prop valve. I had rear disk OEM and that valve was way off. Rather than modifiying an oem prop valve and changing springs in and out each time all you have to do it twist the **** and go try again so you remember what the feel was. Those fronts are so massive over stock your going to do a bunch of trial by error.
I am more into road racing and auto-x so i'm now having a fun time tracking down wheels that fit with very little spacer.

Just so you know, it is not a great idea running this combo. The pad height on the CTS-V pads is greater than the friction surface on the rotors. So your pads are either overhanging or underhanging the rotor. This is true of all non-carbon C5/C6 Vette rotors.
