Fabricating ls1 hubs

Hey guys,

Last part needed for my ls1 conversion is hubs. A few questions,

I know some people have experienced cracked hubs when pressing new studs. Is there a specific brand of rotor that people use that seem to be less prone to cracking? Any tips to prevent cracking?

On Luke Staffs page he uses 1LE rotors to make his hubs. But he says his C4-HD rotors required a bigger offset. Since I am only doing the LS1 upgrade does this mean I can use just standard thirdgen rotors to make the hubs?

Lastly Luke mentions that the hubs need a taper cut into them to clear a lip in the LS1 rotor. Can anyone describe exactly where material needs to be removed on the hubs?

Thanks for the help!

Bill

Re: Fabricating ls1 hubs

Ok perfect thought that was the case just wanted to make sure. Anyone know which part # I need for longer studs?
I think it's these ones, but not entirely sure...
