LS1 Rear Question
Hey all, will finally be doing my drum-LS1 rear upgrade on my 91RS this weekend. My only probelm is that before I start, I need to make sure that I have everything, otherwise I wont be able to go get what I need (no other vehicle and running on borrowed time/place)... So let me run through what I have and if someone sees something I am missing, please let me know.
-LS1 backing plates with 4 mounting bolts
-LS1 parking brake cables with brackets
-parking brake shoes
-hardware for the parking brake that attaches to the backing plate
-rotors
-LS1 calipers with mounting hardware and clips
-Brake pads
-gallon of gear oil (no additive/synthetic because open rear)
Will I need to replace the bearings after I pull the axles? If so, which ones are the ones to get?

Re: LS1 Rear Question
Yea, that is for the parking brake at the front, it welds to the underside of the car to hold the front of the cable
