85 trans am rear brakes not working
So the other day i did an oil and tranny fluid change and i decided to run through the gears while the car was up on the stands. when i started braking only my front wheels stopped, the back ones kept on going. I have no idea whats wrong. I have semi squishy brake pedal( squishy till about half way down) and i just bought a brand new master cylinder. I also recently lowered the rear end to get my gas tank out could that have done something to the brake lines? I have no idea whats going on someone please help.

If it's drums in the rear they might just need to be adjusted. Google how to adjust drum brakes, it's very easy. Half-way squishy brake pedal is an indicator of a rear brake issue.

Did you bench bleed the master?

No i didnt bench bleed it. It might be helpful to know that when i bled the brakes there was a tiny bit of fluid coming out with no presure at all.
