Drums to disc offsets

Does anyone know if going from drums to disc brakes pushes your wheels out further?

Going from drums to 10.5" disc?
OR
Going from drums to PBR rear discs?

Not by any major .amount if at all. The only difference is the thickness of the drum and rotor and they are all about the same

Re: Drums to disc offsets

As 86 mentions, there's no substantial difference. A spacer was used on 16" wheels when GM switched from aluminum to iron drums, which created a .187 size difference. The spacer, however, seems to be hit or miss and essentially unnecessary. Even some disc brake cars received them.
