Hey All,

I am replacing all the fuel and brake lines in the car and the complete brake system.

The four lines are bound in a set coming to the back. Should I be replacing them the same way?

What kind of lines should I use?

I am new at this, should I bend and flare my own. are there any real safety issues I have to address with flaring the lines. or use preformed tubing?

if you have the tools, you cna flare your own. But you have to locate all the right flares nuts and such.

Its probably well worth your time to buy preformed lines.

Follow the stock routing and use the factory clips if you can, keep it all nice and neat.

If you are buying prebent, you have the option of standard lines or stainless. Stainless will cost you more, but will never rust out. Well worth the money if you plan to hang onto the car for a while.

i found the headache of bending/flaring/etc wasn't worth saving a couple bucks, especially if you do not have the correct flaring tools already. the prebent stuff is nice, fits like its supposed to, and is pretty reasonable in price.
