Car: 1989 Chevy Camaro RS
Engine: L30 TBI 5.0L Vortec
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: Stock
Brake problem
Ok car is a 89 RS 5.0 with disc in front and drums in back. Question is i changed the pads about a month ago with duralast semi metallic pad. Didnt turn rotors,now i hear bad squeaking with light to medium pedal pressure. Ideas? And its on both sides

how bad are the rotors?
did you properly break in the pads?
could have glazed hte pads and/or rotors
they did come from autozone....

Update: Just changed out the pads and properly broke them in using the 15-20 near stops from 30 MPH. Squeaking is gone so far, didnt get to turn the shiny rotors as shops are closed today. Do you think that might have fixed it?

Did not break in those pads and the rotors were shiny. They did come from autozone.
