Axle/Gears: soon to be 4:11
help, noise when not breaking.
i have a 91 camaro 305 tbi, auto, 273 drum brake rear end. my passenger side brake makes a very loud metal on metal grinding sound when im not useing the brake. but if you bearly touch the petal at all it stops??? it does not make the noise on jack stands.....axle bearings maybe?? thanks for your help guys

It could be. Take the wheel and drum off and see what the shoes look like. Then see how much you can move the axle up and down.

sound like front brake wear indicators to me. Your front brakes are probably worn down.
