LS1 front calipers with c5 13" rotors?

I understand that the ls1 front caliper is identical to the c5 caliper with the only difference being the way it was cast. (gravity vs. pressure IIRC, along with the c5 logo)

My question is, I have a couple sets of ls1 calipers. I am doing a brake upgrade on the front of my car. If I use the correct upgrade spindle/hub/bracket for a c5 setup, I should be able to use the ls1 caliper instead of buying c5 calipers as they are identical?

im not sure, but i do not think that is the case. if they were the same why insthe adapter bracket a different price and made out of a thicker material on a c5 setup? i think there is a difference im sure edmiller would know

Think about it again. The adapter bracket is different between the ls1 and c5 conversions. This is due to having to move the caliper outward moreso on a c5 conversion than the ls1 setup as the rotor is larger.

The question was can the calipers be interchanged as they are physically identical.
