i put factory rear hoses for a 2002 Z28 that bolts to the caliper and they bolted right up to my factory hard line on my 1992 RS. i guess i dont need any special made hoses after all. i have a moser 9" with 98-02 housing ends for 98-02 brakes. just wondering why everybody needs these special made hoses. i'm not done putting everything together yet but it seems like its gonna work.

As an update on the cables, I talked to Jim on Thursday and he told me that they are also having trouble finding an end to slip over the lever actuator on the backing plates. They don't offer one and for liability reasons can't use a Wilwood clevis on their cable and quarantee it. They can, however, make the cable as I want it and let me use a Wilwood or equivalent clevis and they're covered. I hope to have an answer by the end of next week and get the cables rolling. It shouldn't be too much longer and I appreciate the patience fellas.

When I swapped in the LS1 rear brakes I used the cables off the 98 Camaro . I had to fab up a bracket for the end of the cable up in the trans tunnel . Unfortunately it means pulling the whole interior so you can weld in the new bracket. On my 91 theres no slack adjuster in the tunnel so thats how I made it work .

Update: I talked to Jim yesterday and they are waiting on one part to arrive, then do the pull test on the cable to make sure everything is fine, then they're shipping to me...and hopefully on to Mark unless he's bailed on the LS1s. He put up his rear LS1s for sale so who knows.
They'll be here soon guys, I'm trying.

Re: Hey Ed!
Nope, not a dead issue. Jim's still waiting on the small connector piece to connect the end of their cable to the e-brake lever, that's it. I don't know where he's getting them or why there is a delay but they're still in the works and I'll still offer them. Patience boys, patience.

Re: Hey Ed!
well, ed i desperatly need them now, i lowered my car and now my cable adapters i made do have enough clearance over my driveshaft and they are rubbing , my only options now are to forget the e-brake for the time being, or the car is stuck in the garage until the cables are made.
sooooo.... when they are done i will definatly buy a set.

Re: Hey Ed!
Hey there fellas.. I talked to Jim today and he's almost done. He is supposed to get the last part on the first, do the fit up to his company's liking, and send them my way to check out and then send out to my test fit up guy. I'll be contacting him soon. I'll post up as soon as I get them.
Thanks fellas.
