I remember seeing pictures, I even have a few saved, of a guy who was working on getting C6 Z06 6 piston caliper brakes to mount on his third gen. Anything every come of that?

I've heard nothing. I had a S10 guy interested in the complete front and rear setup for his truck until he saw the price tag...$2200+ for front and rears, which really isn't that bad considering what he'd have. I will be glad to pursue the new brakes if there's enough interest in it. I'm even thinking of using the C6 4 piston rear caliper in a setup for the front, I'm sure it can handle it. In any case, I'll get to it sooner or later, I still have to finish up the CTS-V caliper setup and a few other things.

Awesome, I'll be waiting For both

IF... (and a big if) you still haven't gotten it done by the time I get my firebird done (and ready for brakes) I'd be more than happy to go through you and have you build me a brake kit out of the C6 Z06 calipers. 2200 for fronts AND rears isn't too bad. A 6 piston caliper system through anybody else is approx. $3k+ for JUST the fronts... so I'm game for a front and rear kit at a reasonable price. I'll let you know, but I'm talking a good year at least down the road still.

And that also included spindles, hubs, front setup parts; bracket work (have to design the rear from scratch), and most of the rear setup, it was a full front and rear "rough estimate" quote. It'll be one hell of a setup.

Ok on a side note... I've got a buddy, who's got a '95 LT1 Z on 17" TT2's. He'd like to know what kind of options he has keeping those wheels. Anything you offer, or the aftermarket offers? Also, if he HAS to step to a different wheel, he'd like to stay 17's (maybe some budnik hammers) but he'd still like to keep the TT2's Lemme know whatcha got

I do not know if you are talking about me or not? I was, am working on a c6 z06 front, swap. I have some pics posted, I kind of ran out of money at the time, but now I have a new job and the cash flow is coming back for my project. I should have the rest of the parts and have them installed by sept 1st, I hope.
