Cowl Hood help
Not seeing much on the forum for bulge measurements for cowl hoods. I posted on a FB group, and got some answers, but not a lot of help. Plus, I re-measured after I realized my fenders were sagging.
What size cowl hood do you think I'd need? If you're running a similar setup that'd be a bonus, so I only have to buy once haha.
The tape was closer to the filter when I took newer measurements today/ mounted the fenders better, so they didn't drop.
92 RS SBC
PVT29-7107 Power Products Dual Plane Intake Manifold
Holley 650 carb
UMI 90073 1982-1992 GM F-Body Heavy Duty SBC Polyurethane Engine Motor Mount Kit
1" carb spacer
3" filter (14" air cleaner) 1.18 drop base(?)
Front of carb 3-3.5" above tape line
Back of carb 2-2.5" above tape line
Stock hood on, resting 1" above the filter, it sits 5" above the cowl portion below the window. If that helps.
4" cowl or 5" Sunoco (https://glasstek.com/1724-2/) are the answers I got from FB and friends.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Re: Cowl Hood help
I have a 3" harwood and it's pretty good. Not so high that I can't see, everything fits under it. I'm running a brodix HV1016 intake with a 1/2' spacer and a 3" air cleaner and im at about 2.5" higher than the cowl lip for the top of the air cleaner.

Re: Cowl Hood help
@exiled350 I'm roughly 2.5" using a level from the top of my cleaner nut to the base of my windshield cowl. Maybe a 3" will fit... Hmm, would be nice
