Can I put the 92 Bumpers on the 87 IROC Z?

I've got an 87 IROC Z and I was just wondering whether or not I can put the front and rear bumper from the 92 because it just looks SOOOO much better then the stock one. Can it be done or is it just not possible?

Totally possible. I think the impact bars are the same but the plastic / rubber bumper support (the name eludes me) would need to be transferred over as well as the bumper cover

So what parts do I need other then the bumper? I have to buy the front and rear bumper and what else? Is there any proof you can?

there are a bunch of cars out there that are older that have the newer bumpers. Also, ;look at the fenders, the holes for the cover are the same regardless of year.... mounting for gfx might need some reworking but overall doable.

1. I believe the rear impact bar is the same so that's ok
2. Front impact bar may be the same... not exactly sure but I think its the same from 87-92 for camaros
3. You will need the front honey comb (structural plastic / rubber under the bumper cover
4. Rear honeycomb I believe is the same as well.... from 87-92 but not too sure
5. You will need the turn signals and other hardware from the new bumper covers
6. You will need the bumper covers themselves and possibly any duct work for the radiator
7. Ground effects

The hardest part will be the ground effects as I believe the mounting holes on the fenderswhere these bolt up are different and will require new drilling / filling of old holes.

The front bumper should be the same. It’s just the lower ground effects/spoiler that’s different.

OK, slow down...Just so we are clear you want to put 92 Z28 bumpers on the 87 Iroc correct? If yes, the bumper cover is the same, the front lower ground effect is different but will bolt to the 87 nose. The mounting of the 91-92 lower spoiler uses a slot cut in the fender rather than a round hole (no big deal).
The rear bumper cover is different but the honeycomb will work. You will also need to change the 2 rear quarter panel ground effects with the rear cover. The profile of the 91-92 rear gfx is different form the 85-90. The rocker panel gfx and door ground effects are also different from the 85-90 and 91-92.
