Hey everyone. I recently acquired an original metal louver that was from a showroom Iroc, as with most of these louvers, I got mine without hardware. Its 2021 and I feel fabrication has gone more digital. has anyone come across cnc files or 3d printer files for hardware like this. I feel it could be easier to hand a machinist these files or 3d printed models to fabricate a new set and hopefully solve the shortage dilemma for other owners and prevent price gouging. if anyone has more information please let me know.

I made my own using some metal I bought from Lowes and Zeus fasteners I got off Ebay. Cut metal to size, smushed the Zeus down to proper height in a vise, welded Zeus tab to fabricated bracket, glued bracket to glass using clear silicone. Works great. Looks pretty good, although you can't see them with the louvers mounted.
That's pretty sharp! ....but is there anything other than silicone holding the louvers on?!?! Not sure I'd be ok with that. ....I didn't do a search, but I'd love to SEE a set of original hardware. I hope to find a set, and I'm already anticipating the need for hardware.
The original louver hinges are on top. They clip around window trim and also have double side tape holding them down. The bottom two adjustable original hatch pieces are also still there and have the original double sided tape holding them to glass. The brackets I fabricated were the 4 on the sides/outer window edges.
The silicone sticks incredibly well to glass. I have done this for other glass projects before with great success. Clear caulking silicone sticks better to the glass than the double sided tape GM used, although the original side pieces would have also clipped around the window trim to help hold in place. I wouldn't hesitate to hold the entire louvers in place to the glass with this silicone, but having some original ones clipping around the metal window edges does provide some piece of mind. I would not be able to remove these from the glass without destroying the fabricated part or using a sharp blade to carefully slice the silicone and break the tension.

I would love to order some of those brackets off you if you make em to sell em. I don't have any machining tools besides a basic mechanics set of tools for general maintenance.
