Looking for notch backs - They still around?
Hey! I did some searching and found some old posts with links to websites that aren't up anymore..
I'm searching for a notchback for a 1992 firebird.. I don't mind the factory, but I really like the look of what they're calling the "targa". I really like the one in this picture: https://www.reddit.com/r/AwesomeCarM..._camaro_hatch/
Anyone still selling these? Can't find anything..

I have only seen one of those in my life. And it didn’t have the wing or the louvers. It looked more like a trunk lid with a straight glass sort of like a ElCamino with a tonneau cover would look. I would think custom work, luck out with a seller or get lucky at a junkyard would be he only way

I don't think you could get something like that unless you ordered the complete custom aftermarket model back in the day. I know GM offered a notchback back in '88 for the GTA. Don't know how much that part was back then through GM parts, if it was even available, but I'm pretty sure it was very expensive and probably ridiculously expensive today even if you were able to find one for sale. Then again, I'd keep checking Copart. There might be a wrecked '88 GTA notchback out there somewhere. However, I wouldn't hold my breath though. lol!
