I have the hood blisters/ louvers for a 92 z28, but on one side the vent insert is coming up a bit. Is there a company that sells the inserts? And is there a way to safely remove these from the louvers and possibly reglue them?

I think they are aluminum and are held down with adhesive so pulling it off will most likely distort it. You can probably straighten it out with some time and patience and then use contact cement. You can can also make your own out of new material if you chose to.


And,, they are not vents They serve no functional purpose. Just decoration. There is no holes in the hood blisters that allow air to enter or exit.

Haha I'm aware they are only decoration, I just wanted to try making them look as good as they originally did. I will prob try regluing the one and hope it comes out ok. Just weird that no one seems to carry replacements for them...
