How To Undercoating/Rust Prevention?
Curious if anybody has any tips, tricks, or guides on how I can preserve this in its state. With the little rust it has I'd like to descale it and undercoat it but not sure how to go about it.

You'll want to strip the paint off anywhere you see rust bleeding through. Its probably gonna snowball by the looks of it so be prepared to spend some time under it with a angle grinder, etc. After you have most of the paint removed you can scrub it with a red scotchbrite pad and ospho. 2-3 coat should get it. Seal it up with primer and paint. Most suggest a epoxy primer and paint but I just recently used rustoleum self etch primer and their high performance enamel.

Dry ice will help remove the under coating typically, never tried it on a third gen though. Just don't freeze burn your self.
