Dealership optioned predator body kit

Hello all! As I type, I'm headed back to the land of Oz with a bird I just picked up and am curious for more info.
It's a 92 formula bird, 305/700r4 car, ws6 option, power everything (working and in immaculate condition, I might add ) and it has a predator body kit on it, less the nose which was ugly as sin anyway, according to Google pics. This thing has the original title (showing 72 miles haha), all the paper work, original window sticker and purchase papers. On the dealership sticker, it shows "+ performance body kit and 16" wheels, also window tint",
And is a true one owner car.
My question is..were the predator body kits, er, "performance" kits a factory possible option, or was it just something that that specific dealer offered aftermarket?
Either way, for under 4 didgets, I'm pretty content

Such a tease without pictures!

Not a factory or Pontiac option - would have been dealer upgrade only.

Some of the body kit is off, looks like just needs to be re applied or bondo'd to the body and re sprayed. This thing also had EXTRA predator parts in the trunk, so I also got duplicates!
Sucks that it isn't a rare factory option, but I spose still neat to have the full kit (less nose) from the dealership with documentation.
One owner car, the title is dated April 27, 1992, ODO reading 72 miles. Has all the lien release papers from 1995, original loan papers, original warranty card and fire warranty card, maintence booklet, RPO sticker intact.
Interior is absolutely beautiful. Headliner is falling, no biggie, and the carpet is a little faded, also no biggie.
Perfect dash/pad, door panels, center console and shifter plate, seats are immaculate, seat belt buckles are really nice, though the red is slightly faded.
For $870 on a coin toss, I'm a happy camper. One area I'm worried about though..
This thing was in a wreck years ago (not reported to insurance) with a fence post, looks to be at about 20mph. Hood trashed, rad support moved in, though the radiator itself isn't bent or leaking. Hell, AC still works. The nose and bumper were trashed.. And the frame rail in front of the core support is bent pretty good. I searched for a good hour with a flashlight on this thing, inspecting the frame rails for any sign of them bending elsewhere, I couldn't find any signs that had happened. Door gaps are all perfect, panels line up, doors open and close just like a brand new car..tire wear (has had these tires on it for about 8 years, since before the crash), and the owner drove it as is for a while afterwards, the tires show no sign of abnormal wear. So, to me, it looks like the frame is fine aside from the area in front of the core support. However I could always use the opinion from a second set of eyes, some of you guys on here are eons ahead of my knowledge.
Pics..

Bloody cool.

The cassette tape in the center really ties it all together.

The predator body kits were made by Kobel and were available from JCWhitney (and probably other mail order companies pre internet) in the 80/90s, as far as can I remember.

Seems Classic Industries has some NOS left to sell for the 85-90s... http://www.classicindustries.com/pro...rts/40649.html

*edit*... if you add the above kit, in the link,to cart, it is no longer available. Despite linked page stating "Stock limited to qty on hand. All sales final. Closeout item. "

Deadbird,
We will have the inventory team do a shelf count Monday to see if any are left in stock.

Huh, so I managed to score a bird with an almost complete body kit that costs more than I paid for the whole car. Not bad! Instead of clogging up the forums with another build thread, I'll just use this one to document the process. It'll be slow, since I lost my job and have to scavenge parts haha.

I was told the motor should run, and it seems to be fine. Dirty, and a turd TBI, but everything else seems to be good. However, it appears rats got to the engine harness, so I tore the TBI system off and threw on an old performer EPS I had, just drilled out to work with 87+ heads.
When I say "have to scavenge parts", I'm being quite literal. I'd rather not spend $40 in intake gaskets when I don't even know if this turd runs, so I just looked around my shop and found a mismatch pair of used intake gaskets that look nice. Got those on, stole a dizzy from a random motor in my shop..plug wires are mismatch factory wires, and spare MSD wires. Plugs were scavenged from my Mercedes.. I didn't much feel like pulling the carb off my current DD, so to do a half *** test, I taped over the back half of the intake holes, dumped gas down the throat and cranked it. She fired for a brief moment, good sign!
Today I'll get a carb bolted up, pull the fuel pump off my DD to test and see how well it actually runs.

Also, since this was in a front end collision, it needs some straightening. I managed to pull the rail a little more straight, but I'll have to have a shop do it fully later. However the core support, I straightened/am straightening it today. Not exactly a technical process, I'm doing. Wrap a chain around one part of the support, wrap the other end around the axle of the other firebird, hop in and give it a little gas. That, along with using a come along/chain. It's came out pretty nicely, though it won't be perfect. It's a cool car in overall fair shape, but aside from the dealership body kit, it doesn't have any particularly rare options, ergo not really collectible.

Side note, this thing came with a very new looking throttle body that I don't need, for sale for cheap.

Engine bay wiring cleaned up. Since I'll be going carb, I separated and removed the TBI wiring. The throttle body, sensors, ignition, emissions crap. Now I just need to get new looming and wrap the wires and they should be good to go. Also repaired wires that were being kept that were damaged. Damn rats..
Now just gotta drop the tank and pull the fuel pump/replace it. After that, I'll need to get a bracket for the throttle/TV cable, then should be good to go!

As of now, I still haven't spent am dime outside the initial purchase on this thing. Everything is just spare or scavenged parts and a little creativity.
Surprisingly the motor runs. Put the quick fuel from my other bird in, hooked up an external fuel pump going to a can of gas, filled the float bowls and fired it.

After she's running stable, then comes replacing the entire suspension. All the rubber bits are gone. Also gonna have to weld on another frame rail, that'll be fun.
