Hatch Problem

Car: 1989 Formula Firebird
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 5-speed
Axle/Gears: 3:45
Hatch Problem

I have an 89 formula had to take out the pull down motor when I put it back in it won't open with the key, I have to use a screwdriver and pop it from the inside. How do I fix this? thanks!

Did you reattach the white plastic connector on the lock cylinder correctly? The cable that attaches there is what releases the lock. Make sure it is tight enough that it can't turn on the cylinder as well.
