Front bumper centre fascia bracket - question
Hi,
I have a 1988 Camaro that had frontal damage which has been repaired and painted and in the process of reassembling it.
There appears to be a steel bracket in the centre of the car which supports the bumper cover to the body. There are two threaded studs behind the bumper that connect it to the hood catch support bracket. (Photos attached).
This bracket was damaged in the accident and I'm hoping someone can post a picture of their bracket so that I can bend it back to it's original shape?

Here is the plastic support from inside the bumper that has the two studs that I think the fascia bracket attaches to.

Re: Front bumper centre fascia bracket - question
I just got in a wreck with my camaro. That bracket looks like someones "fix" to a missing part. The part that bolts to that part is the hood latch support. If you have any questions about putting everything together, let me know

Looks like I picked up the wrong bracket out of the parts bin!
How does that bracket fasten to the hood catch support bracket?
Any more pictures would be appreciated.
