Front inner fenders and frame squareness measurements

Pictured below is the result of trying to avoid deer on a narrow country road with guard rails while having the LCA's in the lowest bolt hole in the relocating bracket and a set of Koni's yellows set to maximum stiffness.

A question for the body gurus here, how can I check frame straightness at home? It appears to be bent in and up slightly from the way the body sealer is cracked and split. The drives front control arm is nearly torn off the car so I can't take it to town.

The Body Section of the FSM has the measurements and diagrams you're looking for.

Re: Front inner fenders and frame squareness measurements

That topside doesn't look bad at all, the hood and fender look like they still line up fairly well. (front bumper support got knocked over a bit)
Buuuut we cant see the wheel area.
What got bent down there??

Re: Front inner fenders and frame squareness measurements

OK thank you. I haven't had a chance yet to get any good pictures. I'll try to get it out tomorrow for some inner fender pictures as well as a fender-door gap picture.
As far as what I KNOW is bent, the spindle are that connects to the tie rod was bent so much I couldn't steer the car with it hooked up. The rear Mount for the drivers side front A-arm was nearly torn off the k-member completely. I can see from the scratches that the k member was atleast flexed if not moved.

Re: Front inner fenders and frame squareness measurements

I picked up a complete front suspension for $50 outside of Milwaukee. I will have to hit you up for the bumper and impact bar later after I figure out if the car is savable. Thank you though

These are three pictures of the damage to the floor brace right behind the fender and the sheet metal by the firewall

Re: Front inner fenders and frame squareness measurements

Here are a few pictures of the inner fender. The yellow showing in places is where the body flexed and broke the sealant.
