91 Firebird

I hope you can see my profile picture as I couldn't figure out how to get it in this box, can anyone tell me what the missing part is called and where I could find it?

Thanks

Re: 91 Firebird

We call that the front fender gfx (ground effects). If you're real lucky, you'll find them at the parts yard. Otherwise be willing to pony up some cash for those hard to find, intact, pieces. I do believe some of the sponsors may have these as well but you'll probably be paying more.

Re: 91 Firebird

Thanks for the info, I'm not going to be so lucky at a junk yard seems like if a car like this has a wreck bad enough to be in a yard it will be pretty messed up LOL!! I had that trouble when I looked for headlight motor. "Sponsors" do you mean on this forum?

Those things are expensive and hard to find. Most of the used ones are already cracked from speed bumps and stuff like that. I fabbed some up from sheet metal.

Re: 91 Firebird

GREAT!!! I'm a senior who does not do any DIY. So there is no way someone could some how put the plastic pieces together? Don't laugh, I know nothing about cars, I'm just hoping to be able to keep my car, never had any problems with engine or transmission, just the stuff around it. my T-tops don't even leak

Re: 91 Firebird

I think even if you find one at a junk yard, it will be fairly expensive. Especially when you have to repair it because you wont find a nice one.
