changing nose cones

I'm installing a 91 z28 nose on my 86 Camaro and I cant get my turn signals to lock into the new housings. Did they change the wire design in the years?

Re: changing nose cones

Front turn signal or side markers? Front are the same from 85-92 with GFX. Side markers are the same throughout 3rd gen production. Just hold your tongue right push and twist. You need to compress the seal around the socket.
