Trunk Hood Pins
So i saw someone that used hood pins for their trunk, and i'm curious if anyone on here has any knowledge or wisdom about this. I know there are locking hood pins, and that would solve the issue and remove the weight of my faulty trunk latch system, but what would the best approach to this? any wisdom TGO?

Re: Trunk Hood Pins
I have thought of doing the same thing to get rid of the latch assembly. Locating them correctly is the hard part. Once you have the posts positions, you can use paint to help locate where you need to drill on the read deck. Obviously, measure carefully before the drill bits come into play.
