86 camaro upper door hinge worn

Hey guys, I have replaced with new bushings and pins top and bottom, and still have really bad sag, You can see the hinges are worn really bad when you move the door up and down while open. Anyone have any suggestions other than replacing the upper hinges?

Re: 86 camaro upper door hinge worn

Hello, when you mean both top and bottom hinges, do you mean you replaced the upper pins along with the usual lower pin with bushings? If you didn't do the upper hinge pins then that would most definitely be your problem despite replacing the lower pin. If not then perhaps the hinges need to be bent back into shape, but from the sound of things your top pins have failed like every other third-gen. A few searches on this site will get you to helpful threads already covering this topic. Top-down solutions would help solve your problem for the upper pins and doors in general.
