Getting dusty smell from air vents in car
I drove my '88 Trans Am over the weekend, and it was pretty cold out. I turned the heat on, and I can't remember the last time I used it. I got a strong dusty smell from it.
I've driven the car a decent amount the last few summers, and I've noticed a bit of a smell with the vent/AC. But it was much stronger when the heat was on. Maybe the hotter temps just "cook" the dust more and make the smell more noticeable...
Anyway, is there a good way to clean out the ventilation system?

Re: Getting dusty smell from air vents in car
thats normal with any car
if u want you can take the dash pad off and get to atless some of the vents and wipe them out but the smell will go away by its self if you use the heat more
