Car: 1984 Camaro SC
Engine: 305 V8, LG4. For now...
Transmission: 700R4, for now...
Axle/Gears: ???
putting gfx on my 84
hey guys i just bought an 88 iroc so that i can use it on as a donor car. but im putting the gfx from the iroc on my 84 sport coupe.
but my question is when i drill the holes in my door and body panals, do i need to worry about rust from exposing some raw metal when i drill a hole? or can you guys give me any tips?

We just did that to my son's '87 LT - spotted each drilled hole with self-etching primer before we put the ground effects pieces on. Seal each one with a flexible sealant or gasket too!

We just used NAPA Black RTV sealant - just a little dab will do ya! You may need to take the pieces off someday, so use just enough to seal with.

Any NAPA auto parts store should have it or find similar at other parts stores
