Re: good way of shipping bumpers?

When I sold a GTO bumper cover on Ebay the problem wasn't how to protect it, it was that it was too big for UPS or Fedex. I had wrapped it with bubble wrap and cut down a bigger box to fit it nicely. After some searching I found Greyhound Bus was fast, cheap and didn't really care how big it was. Seattle to Salt Lake City, less than $40. and it was there in 24 hours. The only drawback was the guy had to pick it up at the station. But he didn't mind. So yeah. Bubble wrap the ends. add some extra cardboard layers and maybe some cardboard stiffeners cut to the shape of the bumper cover to help it all keep it's shape.
Of course none of this applies if you are sending the impact bar and not the cover. lol.

Re: good way of shipping bumpers?

it is the outside cover.

and sweet! thanks!
i was thinking of stuffing the inside with newspaper (cardboard sounds good to) and wrapping bubble wrap around the whole thing
