Look what I found around the office: drip rails?!?

I invaded our product development department today after hearing rumors that we had some third gen goodies to test out. Low and behold, we've got some prototype drip rail / rain channel seals! These are not yet available for sale, but we'll be testing them (wait, I think I have a t-top car.....) out for fit and finish in the near future. I know I personally want to go with the plastic ones for my TA, but we do have the rubber ones for testing as well.

well, i know what you guys are really looking for....pictures!

Re: Look what I found around the office: drip rails?!?

with the stock drip rails, the general consensus is the plastic is more durable (its the second revision of the drip rails, GM apparently weren't satisfied with rubber)

With these reproductions I'm not sure, If i get a set I'm opting for the plastic though

Re: Look what I found around the office: drip rails?!?

they're still trying to get the finish down on them. I have the prototypes and the fit was great, just a bit rough around the edges for a finished product. We've been keeping on them to get these out for you guys, just don't want to rush and have unhappy 3rdgenners

Re: Look what I found around the office: drip rails?!?

thats cool, but I think im gonna wait until the plastic ones come out, for durability reasons, because I dont want to have to keep replacing rubber drip rails every couple of years
