Preval spray gun, anyone use it?

Well I have my car running right and now I want it to look good. I have about 12 of those preval paint sprayer refills and the little jar you hook up to it. anyway I'm on a pretty tight budget and don't have access to an air compressor and I saw on this website a guy painted a fender with it and it looked pretty good would it be possible to paint a whole car with this? Here's the link that explains what they are, www.preval.com and here's the link that shows what this guys end result was with the fender, http://refinishnetwork.blogspot.com/...spray-job.html.

Preval "guns" are used for touch up applications. Think of them as a spray bomb for paint that you've mixed. If you think you can rattle can a car and make it look good, give it a try. I paint for a hobby and my first reaction would be to tell you not to. However, if you're on a budget give it a try. Also, if those sprayers are old, they may not spray for very long.

No, don't do it! I own a small body/custom shop and you will mess your car up trying to paint it with that thing. To do a good paint job on a budjet you will need a good hvlp paint gun. You can buy a good low cost paint gun for $50-100 bucks at the swap meets or see if you can rent one. If you've never sprayed automotive paint before you need to learn or have someone teach you cause you can ruin your car and waste a lot of money. And don't forget safety. One of the best things you can do is pickup one of those how to paint your car dvds.

Late in the game but I'd like to put my 2 cents in.. Hope fully someone that searches and reads this will find it helpful.
While the preval sprayers are perfect for touch ups and smaller jobs like a fender , I would not recommend using them to paint a whole car. Big dog Chevy is right, buying a hvlp to paint the whole car is a better option.
If you do use are sprayers for touch ups or smaller jobs checkout our website and YouTube channel for tips.
I do the tech and design for Preval so of you have a video or how to you'd like to see just drop us a line.
