differance in fenders
im going to eventually need a driver side fender on my iroc vert. Hawks has it but my question is whats the difference between a regular fender and the one for a convertable. i figured they would be the same but apparently im wrong

The convertible fender is the hardtop/t-top fender with the bottom cut off. ASC used regular fenders, they just cut the bottom off, and installed the bracket. If you have your old convertible fender, it is very easy to cut the t-top/hardtop fender bottom off. Cut off wheel works great. You have a bracket on your convertible fender that is riveted on at the bottom. Drill those rivets, drill the holes in the new fender and rivet it on. The ground effects cover all the cutting and modifying. I have done this many times. Check out the convertible forum, and there are pics. Good luck to you!
