Trinity Auto paint

just a question for anybody on here

EDIT: took out link, it changes every day if it works or not, so if you want to look at the paint, its at

paintforcars(DOT)com

*you guys know the (dot) means . lol

has anybody had luck with Trinity Paint?

im not looking for the best of the best, but i dont want paint thats gonna need repainted in 2 years(the macco job on my car now lasted 5, 2 for the original owner and 3 for me lol)

But trinity has gotten decent reviews on other forums when i searched google, and the price is definitely right for all that

i have a painter and he told me get whatever i want and he will work with it and the price is right on this stuff

Re: Trinity Auto paint

Your link isnt working...it brought me to the buy section of cars.com lol??? I picked up the bc/cc kit in Blue metallic a few months ago with the extreme clear. I havnt had a chance to use it yet because i'm still doing prep work but i'm hoping to have the car sprayed in the next two months. Based on reviews and some research I did it seems like it will be decent paint. The guy who's helping me with the car actually recommended I check it out because he had also done some research on it and thought it seemed worth it. If you still havnt decided by the time I get the car painted i'll have some pics up. All depends on weather though for how long it takes.

Re: Trinity Auto paint

ok, i ordered the paint and it showed up about 2 weeks later, so i was very satisfied with customer service from paintforcars.com, the Trinity paint i bought looks to be good quality, and i got the kit with the 5 star KLEAR KOAT(or coat) i think its called, my car wont be going to paint for a few months but when it does i will let you all know how it goes,

as far as pricing goes, they are ridiculously cheap compared to who they are compared too(ppg and HOK)on quality of paint, although they do not offer near as many color combos and candys and what not, but they offer great single color base paints for that fresh show room shine, i got Hot rod black primer surfacer, and my Jet black paint KIT with clear coat activators reducers and all that jazz, they gave some strainers, stir sticks, and one of those $1 masks all for a grand total of $233 Shipped FEDEX to my door

i have a friend who i went to Votech with(he went for autobody while i chose computer repair and electronics)then he went to wyotech for custom fab and hot rod work, so hes shooting the car for me free of charge

will be awesome when finished i hope

nope not yet

the way its going for me is,

my dad and i are doing the body work(we are working on the motor now almost done with that)

then my buddy whos a semi-pro painter is gonna shoot the car for me

he told me he has used Trinity before and loved it, its just a very simple base/clear to use but if done right and taken care of will last for a long time and stay looking good

just use the right primer surfacer in combination of your color choice they offer and you will get a deep color everybody loves

i will be posting pics and everything as the steps are completed, hopefully all will be done by mid summer

yup, i just sent the website a message on how to get the deepest black and they told me exactly what primer surfacer and paint kit to buy, from the looks of the testimony cars it looks to be pretty good stuff, ofcoarse everything looks either better or worse in person lol

Exactly if you take your time doing the body prep and the painter is good with his gun the paint job typically turns out really nice, dont know if youve searched here or not but some members have "budget painted" their cars and did a good enough job that they could or have won awards with them, just takes patience and a skilled hand to have a nice paint job

Had to come back and edit

you really dont have to be great at shooting paint either as long as you know how to sand properly lol
